It is a fascinating big-city opportunity to integrate your team through getting to know Warsaw together, solving challenges and uncovering the city’s secrets under the watchful eye of our experienced guides. The participants will have a chance to see how Poland’s capital city was rebuilt from ruins after World War II, experience the atmosphere of pre-war Warsaw and face the challenges of life in those times.

The group will be divided into teams of 7-10 people who will face teambuilding challenges. The teams can be chosen at random or predetermined basing on your choice. Each team will get an envelope with a map and description of challenges. The teams will get the same set of tasks but each of them will start in a different location and solve puzzles in a different sequence.

In their envelopes the teams will find maps and guidelines with time limits. Time and precision will be key to solving your puzzles which will consist in discovering interesting places in Warsaw, cooperating will local actors and working together as a group. Your team will get to know local craft and tradition, find spots connected with the city’s history and meet actors who will enact characters from a given epoch, helping the team go back in time. A variety of tasks and their sequence will let the participants bond and spend their time in an amusing way.

Sample challenges:

• PALACE OF CULTURE AND SCIENCE

In the Palace of Culture and Science the participants have to use their socializing and information gathering skills. They get a survey with questions about the Palace that they need to answer. One of the tasks is to take a picture of the group on the viewing terrace on 30th floor of the Palace.

• FOTOPLASTIKON

The mysterious place under the name of Warsaw Fotoplastikon is marked on the city game-map. The teams first need to find the entrance and then pick up the tickets waiting for them in the box office before they can start the next challenge.

• OLD-SCHOOL NYSA 522 TRANSPORTER

The teams need to hitchhike an old-school Nysa transporter to get to their destination. Additionally, they need to prove they managed to ride in Nysa by taking a picture of themselves with the driver.

• QUICK DANCING COURSE

The participants dance Polish polonaise. The instructor teaches the dancing steps dressed in a costume from the epoch.

• FELLOW IN THE GATEWAY

On the streets of Warsaw the city game participants come across a typical smarty standing in one of the gateways. The fellow challenges the participants to play Three Cards with him. They need to find a way to outsmart the smarty!

• WARSAW GINGERBREAD

The history of gingerbread making mixed with manual challenges. Each participant has to decorate gingerbread shaped like the Mermaid of Warsaw using a traditional method. The gingerbread is then a gift for the participants.

• CULINARY WORKSHOP

The participants meet a chef who teaches them how to cook Polish pierogi. They start with a quick culinary workshop and finish with a tasting of all the pierogi prepared by the participants.

• PUB FROM THE COMMUNIST ERA

During the city game the map and the guides lead teams to a pub in which they can exchange the ration cards that they managed to get hold of on the way for shots of vodka.
