Financial Protection

As a provider of event services within the European Union, all bookings are covered by a comprehensive system of EU consumer protection rules. In particular, your rights arise from the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU (including its specific provisions for leisure services booked for a fixed date), the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive 2005/29/EC (as amended by Directive (EU) 2019/2161), as well as the corresponding national legislation in each Member State. Together, these instruments require that you receive clear and accurate information before you enter into a contract, prohibit misleading or aggressive forms of marketing, and guarantee that you may seek appropriate redress (such as a refund or compensation) if services are not delivered as promised. For leisure and event activities tied to a particular time or date, EU rules may restrict the usual 14‑day right of withdrawal; however, this does not affect your fundamental entitlement to fair treatment, proper contractual performance and effective remedies where problems arise.

Your personal information and payment data are likewise regulated by strict EU data protection law, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Payments are processed exclusively through secure, SSL‑encrypted systems that comply with these legal obligations. Your personal data are processed in accordance with GDPR requirements and only to the extent necessary to administer your booking and provide the services you have purchased. Taken together, these legal and financial safeguards enable you to book with confidence, in the knowledge that your status and rights as an EU consumer are clearly defined and strongly protected.

Should you require assistance in asserting your rights, each EU Member State has its own national consumer protection authority responsible for enforcing EU consumer law and acting against traders that fail to comply. In addition, you may contact your local European Consumer Centre, which is part of the EU‑wide European Consumer Centres Network (ECC‑Net). These centres offer free, expert guidance and support in resolving cross‑border disputes involving companies established in another EU country, Norway or Iceland. National authorities, the ECC‑Net and the European Commission cooperate within the Consumer Protection Cooperation (CPC) framework to monitor markets and ensure consistent enforcement of EU rules. As a result, when you book event services with an EU‑based company, you benefit from a consistently high level of legal and financial protection throughout the Union.

Some stag‑do and similar event companies operate from outside the EU, for instance from Switzerland, which is not a Member State of the European Union. In such circumstances, you may not enjoy the same degree of protection or the same straightforward enforcement options under EU consumer legislation as you would with an EU‑based organiser, and it may be more difficult to enforce your rights or secure an effective remedy if difficulties arise.

Your bookings and payments are also covered by specific EU rules in the field of travel and tourism. Where your arrangements qualify as a package that includes accommodation, our company operates, among other legal requirements, in accordance with the EU Package Travel Directive (EU) 2015/2302 and the national laws implementing it. This framework is designed to protect you if something goes wrong, including the unlikely scenario of the organiser’s insolvency. In practical terms, this means there must be adequate financial protection in place so that you can obtain a refund if your trip cannot take place and, where transport is included, receive assistance and repatriation if you are already abroad and services are not delivered as agreed.

Beyond the statutory safeguards, we attach great importance to the security of your payments and the protection of your data. Client funds relating to package arrangements are managed in line with applicable EU requirements, using secure, encrypted payment technologies and working only with reputable financial institutions.
